Really, it’s been a long time since I’ve read something that has a real value! Thank you for giving us more knowledge about Substack!

Thank you Ana ❤️ I really wanted to give some value here because i am tired of people being lied and deceived how things actually work and i hope more people will find this piece

A very useful article! It gives me hope the we can all take turns beating the algorithm!

Tsetsy's avatar

Thank you Florence! Everyone can find their strategy so the algorithm works for them. That's why my desire is to help more people do that <3

“one thin sentence in → one thin output out” but for posts, like yeah if nobody feels anything they’re not passing it along, it’s basically digital word of mouth dressed up as a system ✨

Oh wow thanks for explaining this so clearly. So the link dropping is not a good idea, I guess it's similar to social media platform in that sense, they want to keep us on their platform... fair enough. Thanks for sharing!

Tsetsy's avatar

Thanks for reading 😁 yeah, they definitely want to keep us on Substack and I guess we don’t mind 👌❤️

Morgane's avatar

Right, because the platform is friendlier than others

Thank you! This is really helpful information! The one I need to fix is posting at a consistent time.

I am glad it was helpful <3 Here is a little "trick" from me. What I do is sit down every Sunday and write my upcoming articles, then schedule them for the days I’ve set aside for publication. That way, I can relax during the week knowing I have content ready, and I can use the rest of my time to read other authors and work on my Substack.

Very curious in your story since we started out at about the same time. Roughly how much time do you spend interacting with other Substacks? I'm curious how I "stack" up. For reference, I know I'm not spending enough time on the platform.

What an interesting post! I noticed when I wrote a note saying "Substack growth." It got me over 15likes and new subscribers

That's really amazing to know on very simpler way how the Substack algorithms work

Thanks for sharing and keep writing 💫

Just highlighting this part

After all, Substack is still an email newsletter, and it’s important to track how often our emails are opened. You can track this here: Dashboard → Stats → Posts
